Comparison

Seedance vs Kling

Seedance and Kling are the two models our router picks most often, Seedance for the Cinematic preset and Kling for Story. This page compares them on the things you can actually verify: supported inputs, multi-shot, audio, durations, resolutions and what each costs in credits here, pulled live from our registry. It does not rank them, and it does not publish speed or quality numbers we have not measured at scale.

Creation controls, inputs and audio

Both accept text and image inputs. Seedance additionally accepts several reference images, a reference video and a reference audio track on the version we expose, which is why reference-heavy requests route to it. Kling accepts first and last frames and supports multi-shot prompts with per-shot text. Both can generate sound on the versions in our registry; the live table shows the current flags.

Methodology and last checked

Facts about models available in VibesAI come from our live model registry at render time, so durations, resolutions, audio support, reference limits and credit costs on this page are current. Facts about third-party products are limited to their publicly stated product type and positioning as of 2026-09-20; we do not publish pricing, limits or benchmark figures we cannot verify.

We will add measured metrics such as median generation time and success rate per model only once our own aggregate sample is large enough to be meaningful, and we will show the sample size alongside them.

Frequently asked

Which is cheaper?
The live table above shows the current credit cost of each in VibesAI; costs depend on duration and resolution and are quoted before every generation.
Which is faster?
We will publish median generation times once our sample is large enough to be meaningful. Until then we do not guess.
Can I force one or the other?
Yes. Pin a model in the composer's advanced options; otherwise the preset decides.
